Critical Race Theory (CRT) has become the dominant ideology in the USA and Western Europe. CRT is an underlying basis for much of NATO policy, including the recent escalation of violence along the Ukrainian border, Syria, and now the Gaza Strip. Therefore, it is an issue that affects not only us in the USA, but everyone affected by American and NATO interventions.
Remember all that big talk about how the Biden White House was finally going to get “tough” with the Kremlin? Yes, those comments aged like fine wine. All saber rattling and sanction signing aside, Russia is not dependent on NATO. Rather, NATO is dependent on Russia and it shows. The Warhawk battle cry is more like a whimper and Joe Biden cannot take any meaningful action against the Russian bear without shooting himself in the kneecap.

The Kremlin doubles down on their troop and ship movements, the White House is ineffectual as always, and Ankara gets bolder with their support of Ukraine. That last development (which includes new Turkish drones and Syrian mercenaries) is particularly good for Kiev, but probably gives them little comfort since just about every player at the table has made it clear they won’t face open warfare with Russia.
