Retired Col. Hamish de Bretton-Gordon from the British Army just gave an astonishing interview with CNN in which he explained how “tactical” nuclear weapons could be used to defeat (destroy) Russia.
In short, he claims that Russia would be the one to use tactical nukes:
“tactical nuclear weapons could still create huge amounts of damage, and if fired at a nuclear power station – for example Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine – could create a chain reaction and contamination on a scale with a nuclear strike.”
Well of course Russia would destroy a region that just voted to join Russia. In other words, Russia would nuke themselves, of course.
Naturally, Bretton-Gordon gave the usual false premises Third Reich NATO propagandists use to confuse and mislead their audiences.
At the heart of this move is attacking civilians rather than opposition forces. This manifests itself with attacks on hospitals, schools and ‘hazardous’ infrastructure, like chemical plants and nuclear power stations. If these are attacked, they can become improvised chemical or nuclear weapons.
The Russians hope that if the Ukrainian people give up, the military will quickly follow, which, in my opinion, is a highly flawed assumption – both are showing a lot more mettle than the Russians.
Not only is that all nonsense, it’s pure psychological projection. NATO’s strategy, particularly in the past 7 months, has revolved around economic attacks against the Russian people, and actual mass murder in Donbass and Novorossia.
The most likely nuclear scenario is, I believe, an attack by Russia on a nuclear power station in Ukraine. This could have a similar effect to a tactical nuclear explosion but would be easier to deny for the Russians, who accuse Ukraine of deliberately bombing their own power stations.
Okay, but again, Zaporizhzhia is in Russian hands. Ukraine isn’t bombing “their own” power stations.
And it does not appear that Putin has any morals or scruples. Russia attacked hospitals and schools in Syria which it is repeating again in Ukraine. Unconventional warfare aims to break the will of civilians to resist, and Putin appears to be happy to use any means and weapons to achieve this.
Demonize the enemy as usual.
It is only Russia that has tactical nuclear weapons in this conflict, so it would be undeniable if they’re used that Russia is responsible, and hence trigger NATO action.
This is a false statement. NATO also has tactical nuclear weapons, and is directly involved in this conflict.
Then he goes on to explain the true intention of such a “Russian” attack:
Meteorological conditions at the moment indicate that all this contamination would also head west across Europe. This could be seen as an attack on NATO and trigger Article 5 – where an attack on one ally is considered an attack on all allies – which would allow NATO to strike directly back at Russia.
A nuclear attack in Ukraine would most obviously also contaminate Russia, but again, this is propaganda not an honest attempt at reason.
Even in an attack on a power station one assumes Putin would be involved, as the West would likely construe it as an improvised nuclear weapon and act accordingly.
“Act accordingly” means respond with nukes, though he is unwilling to directly say that.
So that’s the plan, according to Bretton-Gordon. If this plan is initiated, NATO will nuke a Russian city, claim the Russians nuked themselves, every legacy news outlet in the Western world will report this statement as fact, and that will be the trigger to justify launching even more nukes.
It sounds utterly insane, and it is insane, but Bretton-Gordon goes on to assure us:
So degraded are Russian conventional forces, that they would likely be quickly overcome by NATO forces if it came to that, which even with Putin’s other failings, presumably he realizes...
That said, I don’t think all-out nuclear war is at all likely.
This is the time to call Putin’s bluff. He’s hanging on by his fingertips, and we must give him no chances to regain his hold. Russia’s forces are now so degraded that they are no match for NATO and we should now negotiate, with this in mind, from this position of strength.
NATO starts a nuclear war, assures their population that there is no danger and there is a 0% chance that the nasty Russians will be able to hurt them… and then what happens, happens.
Even “tactical” nukes are large enough to destroy entire cities – a modern “tactical” nuke is 100 kilotons. The bomb that destroyed Hiroshima was 25 kilotons. But how could this guy claim that if nukes were fired, he doesn’t think this would escalate from a “limited” nuclear war to actual mutually assured destruction? There are only two explanations:
-He’s a mental retard (which I don’t think is true)
-He’s lying.
But how could the ruling elites of the West deliberately embrace an idea that would lead to the destruction of everything, including their own regimes? Well, maybe that’s what they want. Maybe they are actually evil and worship Satan. I would like to remind everyone, or tell you if you didn’t know already, that the Pope literally has his throne in front of a idol of the Anti-Christ rising from a nuclear crater.
Saying this is the Anti-Christ isn’t even a conspiracy theory, it’s just basic theology. Christ comes down from heaven, the Anti-Christ rises from the earth during the tribulation, which in modern times is almost universally interpreted as a nuclear war. Call me crazy, but I think our rulers worship Satan and are deliberately trying to cause the end of the world.

Well, the only thing that I can say is that a nuclear attack on Russia will trigger a strategic nuclear response targeted across the pond. There even is an automated retaliation system that works in case the country is otherwise reduced to dust…
Satan is the prince of this world. Of course the rulers of the world worship him.
Unfortunately, that is the truth.
They aren’t even bothering to hide it.
I’d like to leave religion out of this but I can’t; I too believe this is a struggle between Good and Evil.
What a work of art for the Pope to sit in front of. When I first saw the photo at the heading I previewed the image to zoom in on it’s features. I was horrified! How disgusting!
But then, going to church long ago I’ve seen some bizarre crucifixes depicting the execution of Jesus.
The work is in the Vatican and the title is Resurrection of Christ.
Yup I linked to the wikipedia page. “Christ” with air quotes
As previously mentioned, bizarre.
Vox Day has been saying this for years now: we are ruled by Satan worshippers, and lately they do not hide themselves.
Regarding this Coronel guy declarations, it smells as false-flag operation, as you said: NATO will nuke a Russian city, blame it on Russia, and Western audiences will swallow it hook, line and sink. Latest proof: NS1 and NS2 sabotages. How can anyone seriously think that these attacks on German-Russian infrastructure, which gives Russia tremendous strategic leverage, would be carried out by Russia itself?
Exactly. NATO has been actively “fishing” for a sufficient WMD incident to justify total war since February.
> Call me crazy, but I think our rulers worship Satan and are deliberately trying to cause the end of the world.
Ooookay. Now that you arrived here, think, what should be a method? Especially is they belive in some magic power of words over reality.
What about studying prophecies, Book of Revelation and others, and treating them as “home appliance manual”, as aTV remotee control?
What about forcibly implementing those prophecies? War, famine, pandemy, what other components were there in the recipe?
Well, maybe not a manual but a binding contract instead.
