After four years of whining about “brutal” Russia’s “war crimes” against Ukraine, the Iran war can finely lay this nonsense to rest.
The notorious bombing of a girls’ school seems to have been certainly deliberate. I was already sure of this, as it was a direct hit with so many casualties, rather than debris from a shot-down missile or an Iranian air-defense munition. And get this, according to the Wall Street Journal, CENTCOM used AI to hallucinate targets for their fires plan. As horrifying as that sounds, I can’t say I am surprised. That’s a trend that started even before the drunk retard became secretary of defense war.
Like I noted before, perfidy is the #1 tactic of the Epstein regime now. Offer to lift some communication sanctions as a token of good will during negotiations, then use the window to smuggle Starlink terminals to terrorists. Offer a peace plan, then bomb the Iranian government while they’re meeting to discuss it. Then there’s the most recent case of perfidy. Pretend to participate in an international naval exercise hosted by India, withdraw at the last minute, then sneak attack the Iranian participating ship as they’re leaving.
Besides the question of why anyone should trust the word of the USA anymore, leaning so heavily into perfidy shows weakness and decline. Rather than use conventional symmetric force to overpower enemies the normal way, the regime is increasingly dependent on asymmetric terrorist tactics. This is not strength, but weakness, and it’s clear that the USA is a shadow of what it was in 1991 when it attacked Iraq.
The strangely low trickle of imagery and information about the war is also not a good sign of American dominance. Where’s the round-the-clock imagery and video of “shock and awe” that we saw in 2003 Iraq?
As much of a joke as America is now, Europe is worse. After all that talk about opposing Trump’s Iran position, they have flip-flopped days into it. Mark Rutte (famous for calling Trump “daddy”) has admitted that “NATO is a platform for projecting American power,” which is what everyone has been saying this whole time since the bloc was formed. Why should anyone even pretend to take Europe seriously as a political entity when one phone call from the Oval Office is enough to make all of their tough talk gives way to subservience?

I was saying it even before this latest round of perfidy: how does the American empire recover from this? We long ago showed our enemies that, once they were on the naughty list, no amount of kowtowwing and supplication will ever get you off of it again (see: Libya, Syria, Iraq, USSR/Russia, etc.). America is completely faithless and cynical, and any deal you make with one administration is just as likely to be torn up by the next one. But we've even gone beyond that now! Now, the *same* administration you're dealing with is just as likely to flip the table on you as the next one. And even being an ally doesn't mean your safe from being shaken down or threatened!The only country that seems to have learned the right lessons from this was North Korea.
