There WAS an insurrection in America, but it’s not what you think

Four years after the attempted “insurrection” on January 6, Trump is now headed back to the White House. As it turns out, that wasn’t the the real insurrection. Trump’s 2024 victory was the insurrection. An insurrection by the lower half of the capitalist class against the upper half. Basically, the factory owners in “Heartland America” saw the writing on the wall that the USA is in the advanced stages of collapse. Meanwhile, the upper half, the “Homeland America” capitalists on the coasts, think everything is fine, that it’s possible to have an economy of selling $15 soy lattes and various strains of shitcoin to each other. If the upper half got their way, that absolutely would have been the end of the USA as a political entity. But that didn’t happen. The lower half had enough and usurped the Biden/Harris regime.

A potential argument against this insurrection being a good thing is that maybe the USA NEEDS our Nicholas II and there isn’t a better alternative except to run the system straight into the ground. The incoming Trump team has the opportunity to avert disaster, but they might screw it up.

Right now there is some obvious low-hanging fruit in Ukraine and Israel. Trump could resolve both of these conflicts in the opening days of his presidency and look like a genius. And that’s a completely realistic thing for him to do. He could cut off the cokehead midget in Kiev and no one would care. As for Israel, he’s well-liked by the American zionist movement so he could use that trust to insist on an end to the war in Gaza, promising continued support for Israel in return.

But it doesn’t look promising that Trump is smart enough to do either of these things. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am not betting the farm on him either.

Meanwhile, the establishment media has already toned down their anti-Trump rhetoric. The “violent insurrection” on Jan. 6 is now just a “riot.”

And here’s the picture I picked to be the feature image of this post. A typical NYC subway station. All the people have their backs against the wall so it is harder to push them into an oncoming train. This is not a system that can survive indefinitely. It will either fix itself or be overthrown.

  1. The party mouthpiece, NPR, marked the 4th anniversary of the failed insurrection with the same old rhetoric, but if you compare it with how they were 8 years ago it’s noticeably subdued. They are running stories about how responsible and dignified Harris is for accepting that she lost unlike Trump who LAUNCHED AN INSURRECTION. Strikingly absent is any mention of President Biden. They seem to have completely forgotten about him.

The lack of rioting in major cities makes me feel uneasy. The US deep state is taking this too well. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

  2. The “the lower half of the capitalist class” is the “petite bourgeoisie”, and indeed, they are a major force behind Trump. But the petite bourgeoisie is not a revolutionary force (a la Marx), and anyway, Trumpedro won’t solve anything. To the contrary, he will speed up the decline, thing about things like DOGE.
