Hungary has provoked international outrage by… rescuing Hungarian citizens from a Russian POW camp.
The Hungarian authorities’ attempt to justify the transfer of 11 Ukrainian prisoners of war from Russia as the initiative of individual persons may be seen as a war crime according to international conventions, political analyst Ihor Reiterovych told Radio NV on June 21.
My favorite Austrian painter Tom Cooper called this “disgusting political idiocy” and “human trafficking.” Yes, it is “human trafficking” to rescue your own citizens.
First off, any sane person should understand how self-contradictory this moral outrage is. If being a captive of Russians is so genuinely awful, wouldn’t it be automatically a good thing to rescue some of them, even by unorthodox diplomatic methods? Isn’t being literally anywhere else a better alternative to being a POW?
Secondly, I see all these enraged liberals and nazis (ah, I repeat myself) ranting that Hungary retrieving Hungarian citizens from Russia violates international law, but I haven’t seen even one person cite what this “international law” actually is. Literally, what law? If a Ukrainian-American person was arrested in Mexico, and the American government used diplomatic means to retrieve him, would that be in violation of this mysterious “international law” too?
Excuse me for my ignorance, but I didn’t know that being beaten on the streets of Kiev and forcibly conscripted into the next woodchipper probing offensive was some sort of special, enshrined status that overrules that person’s other passports. For God’s sake, Ukraine is not in the EU and not in NATO either. From the perspective of every legal authority that actually matters, those people’s rights as Hungarian citizens should overrule any complaints from Kiev. What I think this incident really illustrates is that “European values” and “human rights” are a goddamn joke and these people don’t believe a single word that comes out of their own mouths.
The only thing that matters to the Euro-vermin now is feeding as many Ukrainian conscripts into the woodchipper as possible. They would literally prefer a Ukrainian man to be dead rather than be allowed to leave the combat zone.

That’s of course, the most pertinent question. Is being safe in Hungary worse than being a prisoner in Russia? What would these complainers prefer? Of course, we know the answer. Every last Ukrainian man, boy, and infant needs to be pushed into the meatgrinder and killed, no excuses. Not even one Ukrainian who still draws breath can be allowed to seek safety. They all must be killed, every last one. The Euro-vermin will not be pleased until Ukraine is absolutely and totally destroyed and every last Ukrainian dead. Really. I can already imagine Tom Cooper writing his whiniest, most angry post yet after the war is over, absolutely furious and enraged that Ukraine ended the war without slaughtering their entire population first. Understand this, in the eyes of Tom and all the other “enlightened liberals” of Europe, Ukrainians are worthless, more disgusting and without value than trash. The idea of Ukrainians being allowed to live enrages Tom more than anything else. A living Ukrainian is even more enraging than a living Russian. You see, a Russian who lives can maybe be killed later. A Ukrainian is even more worthless – he only exists to kill or harm Russians. It’s okay if a thousand or a million or ten million Ukrainians die, as long as they kill a Russian first. That’s European values for you.

Yes, that’s the fact, problem is Ukrainians fail to grasp it
The Hungarian government’s communication of the incident was kinda amateurish for that matter, but anyway, that’s communication. On the level of actual actions this was evidently beneficial to ALL parties, including Ukraine and even the EU. It was how a good Samaritan was supposed to do, for fcuk’s sake. If I believed in any of fairy tales about how states and institutions are supposed to work I wouldn’t understand this fake outrage from the EU and the Ukies. Of course it’s not about that. The EU’s (and the Ukies’) problem is that Hungary has an independent connection to Russia (that is blown out of proportion to an extreme degree by the Western and liberal press with bs like “PM Orban is Putin’s puppet”).
Maybe, but I still think I’m right. If Ukies and/or the EU were given the option of saving Ukrainians, but sent outside Ukraine so not available for the meatgrinder, they would have refused. Ukrainians not being thrown into Russian guns are considered useless. Remember that was essentially the attitude of zionists in WWII. It was better to let Jews die than have them flee to a country besides Palestine.
Good, let them keep alienating Hungary. That makes two internal saboteurs in the NATOstani camp, the other being Erdoğanistan.
Accusations have been made that the Ukrainian government has been deliberately enforcing conscription more heavily in areas of the country with large non-Ukrainian speaking populations. Having press-ganged their minorities into the army, the army then uses that manpower in ways highly unlikely to extend their lifespan, while protecting their precious ethnically pure population for later.
It’s an easy accusation to make and one difficult to refute in war-time as it’s not like they are going to let independent researchers trawl through their military records. However, it does give a good reason for the Hungarian government to 1) try to get ethnic Hungarian POWs sent to Hungary, and 2) cut the Ukrainian government out of the loop entirely while doing so.
I wonder if this is the issue that is sparking the West’s rage over this. The West knows or at least strongly suspects the Ukrainian army is using conscription to commit a very crafty form of genocide and the West’s mouthpieces are furious that the Hungarian government is acting in a way that suggests the accusations are true.
