I’m pleased to announce that, per CNN, the mighty and heroic Ukrainians have intercepted 52 out of 54 Russian drones during an attack early this morning.
Russia launched its largest drone attack of the conflict yet on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, leaving one person dead and sparking fires across the city.Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence said Russia unleashed 54 Iranian Shahed drones early Sunday – 52 of which were shot down.
Now before you Putinist trolls ask “how could only two drones ‘spare fires across the city‘” – relax, the Ukrainians have an explanation. “Falling debris.”
Falling drone debris also sparked fires in buildings across the capital, Klitshkos aid on Telegram.
A fire spanning 700 square meters (7,534 square feet) had been contained but buildings across an area of 1,000 square meters area were damaged, Klitschko added.
This is the latest example of Ukraine’s unbeatable strategy of using their expensive NATO vehicles and weapons caches to intercept 100% of Russian attacks. In military terms this is called breaking the enemy’s fist with your nose.

115 of 57 Russian drones were shot down. Unfortunately the remaining 85 dropped flaming debris on the last last last last last last last last last last last last last last last last last last bakery, hospital, pet shop, and clown training institute in Ukraine.
That’s the reason clown training institutes for Ukrainians have been opened in Poland, Germany, UK, and USA.
A brilliant strategy.
The Russians think they are targeting assets.
But it is the self-propelled howitzers, AD launchers, ammo dumps, and battalion HQs that are actually rising to the occasion to intercept Russian missiles.
There is nothing the Russians can throw at the Ukraine/West that cannot be parried by PR moves.
