Thank you Wall Street Journal, Very Cool

Previously I shared a Wall Street Journal article declaring that people shouldn’t have tried to defend themselves from the Holocaust, but I’m already falling behind. I Love Billionaires Weekly comes up with nasty things to say faster than I can keep up.

With various COVID vaccines now on the market, numerous governments have suggested that the patents for these drugs be suspended until the pandemic is over. This motion to the WTO should be a no-brainer, yes? Yes but, unfortunately, the staff of the WSJ doesn’t agree.

Check out this lovely column praising capitalism for saving us from COVID. In her steaming pile of garbage, WSJ writer Allysia Finley declared that the vaccine revolution was brought on by “decades of investment.”

Finley is not wrong. Assuming of course by “investment” she actually meant “taxpayers pay for new products, which is then controlled by billionaires who charge us obscene prices for the drugs we funded in the first place.”

Big pharma executives and the shills who defend them are truly special, aren’t they?
