As Trump’s war of choice against Iran spreads and escalates, the question that frequently comes up is “Why?” Tonight on the show wih Billy Bob we will debate the “why” of Iran, going back at least 200 years to the Great Game between the British and Russian Empires. Is this a war between nations – Anglos and Russians, Jews and Persians, and so on, or is this the Marxist class struggle; a war fueled by the capitalist class’s desire for control, and to maintain that control at any cost?
Regardless, the liberal world order marketed to us as a “rules based” system has completely fallen apart. The same governments that railed against Russia’s “brutal invasion of Ukraine,” immediately took the other side, and even supported Ukraine’s attacks on neutral countries on the pretext of cutting off Russia’s oil and gas profits, are now doing the opposite with Ukraine. Despite years of comparing Trump to Hitler, most major European countries now support him, and condemn Iran’s acts of self defense as “aggression” against their innocent neighbors who just so happen to host US bases. It’s a display of shameless hypocrisy that makes me wonder if European leaders are really that stupid, or just so removed from any sense of pride that they can be publicly ridiculous.

Haven't watched the video yet, but I want to note before I forget that American Daylight Savings Time is itself part of a class struggle. Its part of a thinly disguised program to shift the time zones so that in most of the northern hemisphere, the workday starts four or five hours before the sun is highest in the sky, instead of the three or four hours set up by the railroad executives when they agreed on the time zones. This hurts school children and lower level workers who have to get to school and work early in the morning, and helps executives who want to get another round of golf in before the sun sets.
