Orban lost the election because, like many conservative countries in Eastern Europe, Hungary thought they could have their cake and eat it too. They play this game of taking EU money while dancing around the ideological and political requirements. The game works for a generation, then comes time to pay the piper, and payment is delivered through the children.
While conservative politicians grift off EU welfare while rambling about their traditional values, they fail to notice the nationwide brainwashing happening everywhere, even in their own homes. I have never been to Hungary, but I would bet that if I went and found some under-25s, they would be very liberal, very gay, and very anti-Russian.
This video of the metro full of teenagers chanting “Russian, go home” says it all. These children are in charge now. I think it is safe to say goodbye to those nuclear power plants Orban was building.
Poland better be taking notes, because they’re next.
