  1. If you are going to promote the American Communist Party, you should include a link to People’s World, the one tangible product of the ACP:

    https://www.peoplesworld.org/

I just spent about fifteen minutes reading the relevant Wikipedia pages and going to their website, and the American Communist Party seems to be a rebranding of the Communist Party USA. The Communist Party USA apparently grew to 70,000 members in the 1930s, but the membership successively collapsed when the Soviet Union first allied with Nazi Germany, then allied with the United States after being invaded by Nazi Germany, then relations with the United States turned bad, then helped build up the People’s Republic of China, then later split with the People’s Republic of China. It faced repression, but really this was all too much for potential members.

Also, as documented on Americanstasi.com, the USA now has its own secret police, modeled ironically on the Communist secret police of the DDR, so any political organization that is not a CIA front organization first has to come up with a strategy and policy to deal with that.

    1. The Party Journal of ACP is Red America, not People’s World. ACP is not a ‘rebranding,’ it is a reconstitution of the now defunct CPUSA
