Any thoughts on the new and improved Belgorod offensive?
Yes, I think it is a much less successful attempt to repeat the earlier Belgorod incursion, which at the time I called a farcical attempt to recreate Bay of Pigs. They’re probably trying to create bad press and embarrassment for Putin during the election, which is a pretty dumb way to waste finite military equipment, even if they don’t care about the Russian defectors driving them.
