The scariest moment in the Ukraine War – Zelensky might be smarter than we think

The Father of Ukrainian Democracy visited God Emperor Biden yesterday, and the meeting reminded me of the time Maria and I took a trip to Saint Petersburg last summer. Saint Petersburg is possibly the biggest tourist trap in all of Russia, and that presents certain dangers to unsuspecting foreigners. Her streets are full of clowns, seemingly harmless street performers who are actually on the prowl for gullible tourists with more rubles than sense. I cannot confirm or deny if I was swindled, but God Emperor Biden certainly was.

A hustler starts his sales pitch to the intended victim by being overly friendly and familiar. His goal is to confuse and disorient the victim so he doesn’t notice he’s being ripped off or can’t react to it properly. In this case, Zelensky did not need to disorient Biden because that’s the 80-year-old pensioner’s default condition. Here’s the opening of the Biden/Zelensky meeting. Notice how Biden is incapable of even a short conversation without reading his lines off a card like a little boy in his school’s theater class.

After assessing his victim to be his usual bewildered self, Zelensky moves in for the kill and presents Biden with a worthless bauble… for the small price of a $100 billion in military. Indeed, the world’s most expensive trinket.

Remember how I said a hustler is overly friendly and familiar with his victim? He does this as a subtle way to assert dominance. Formality is a show of respect, so being informal in an inappropriate situation is inherently disrespectful. It is simply not appropriate to give Biden a soldier’s medal. Military awards are given to soldiers for service to their country. Such awards can, when appropriate, be given to foreign soldiers. For example, American soldiers fighting under French command in WWI were eligible for French awards. Biden is not a soldier and he’s not serving Ukraine. Notice the fine details of this exchange. Zelensky emphasizes that the award is coming from a Ukrainian captain. Not Zelensky. Not even a general. A captain, a low-ranking officer. Imagine a Polish peasant presenting an award to Napoleon like he’s a stable boy who did a good job cleaning cow shit. That’s no more bizarre a situation than a random captain giving the President of the United States an award like he’s a common soldier in the Ukrainian army.

This might have been an elaborate PR stunt coordinated with Biden in advance, but I don’t think it was. The old man did look genuinely surprised when Zelensky gave him a medal, and that’s hard even for a non-senile person to fake. I think this was Zelensky’s idea, and it’s entirely possible he sprang it on Biden by surprise. As a gullible mark, Biden lacked the quick thinking and good judgement to decline the offered “gift.” And yes, he absolutely should have declined it. A wise man would have told Zelensky he appreciates the offer, but the award should be given to a Ukrainian soldier who did something brave. But Biden isn’t wise, is he? There’s no evidence to suggest he was wise even in his prime and he certainly isn’t now. I’m not sure Biden even knows where he is most of the time.

Let’s talk about Zelensky’s choice of attire. He might just well be the first person in history to to speak to our Congress while wearing his gym clothes. How could a man show up to such an event in a sloppy green sweatshirt and not feel like a disgrace? Conventional wisdom says that the empire’s PR machine instructed Zelensky to dress like this for the past 10 months so western voters would think he’s a cool, down-to-earth war president. But maybe, we’re just not giving the guy enough credit. He’s a professional comedian and actor after all. If there’s any one thing he knows, it’s how to dress for his target audience.

Compare Zelensky to Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk. Those guys dress casual everywhere and that in of itself is a status symbol. They’re demigods too good and important to bother with the dress codes of lesser men. Zelensky came to Washington not as a servant, or an equal. He came as their superior, and we let him do it. Is it possible for a person, regardless of his position, to attend a meeting with Putin in the Kremlin like he just hopped off the treadmill? I’m guessing no. Frankly, he would be told to change into something more appropriate.

I think Zelensky bamboozled us, and no one in our trainwreck of a government was clever enough to realize it. This possibility is very scary, because it implies that the commonly accepted power dynamic between the USA and Ukraine is completely wrong. Just because the USA is vastly richer than Ukraine doesn’t mean we are smart and they are dumb. Biden’s cronies act like they are playing 12-dimensional chess with Russia, and everyone seems to just accept that idea as fact, but what if it’s not true? What if Zelensky is taking us along for a ride. Look at every senior person around Biden, from Pete Buttigieg or Sam Brinton, the crazy cross-dresser who was just fired for stealing random women’s luggage at the airport. Or Antony Blinken or Kamala Harris. None of them are smart and they don’t deserve their positions. They’re just diversity hires, or products of pure nepotism.

What if they’re not actually in control of this war at all? Imagine the implications. Also consider that the bulk of people in management positions in the Biden government are liberals in their 30s and 40s. These are weak, psychologically damaged people who act out of emotion, not logic. They’re very easy to manipulate and that’s exactly what Zelensky has done masterfully so far. However insane and suicidal a direct war with Russia would be, it’s absolutely possible. Zelensky just has to do something outrageous enough that the USA is humiliated into taking direct action. Imagine, say, a dirty bomb detonated somewhere in Ukraine, or maybe some “Sarin gas” like in Syria. In this current atmosphere of absolute hysteria, would Biden have any other choice except war?

  1. Well, there are probably two evil clowns. One treating Ze to being the Person of the Year in AMERICA and the other giving Biden this medal.
Jokes aside, I think there can be true to what you say. Powns want and can become Queens. That’s why powns must be controlled. And, you did mention 12-dimentional chess. On a multi-d board Ze wouldn’t be a pown of a direct adversary, but he is not your pown either.
Another analogy is mafia. Every underdog wants to be a boss and the boss’ job is to control the underdogs and timely curb their ambitions.
Yet another thing is blackmailing. Zelensky (or better his puppet-masters back at home) do have a lot of …let’s call it Borsch Papers compromising Hunter Biden and his family. That’s how a clan that was initially seen as a group at the bottom of the global political mafia can climb up the ladder, or thinks it can. And they have a huge motivation: the spice, I mean, the money must flow for them to feed from this flow. You mentioned God Emperor, haven’t you? Here’s more Dune for you. It’s just we have this story without the Atreides family (at least in this meeting), only Harkonens and Corrinos.
But yes, summing up, Ze’s local party may be trying to take over control of the money and power. Rebel Golems. Given the overall situation it is scary.
