Wars, Crack Pipes, and Javelins: Inside Biden’s ties to Ukraine

The Biden regime is playing a dangerous game in Eastern Europe, and it neatly ties into scandals from his time as vice president for Barrack Obama. Here are some keynotes from Biden’s rise to power, and how they’re playing out today.

Consider this 2019 article in Consortium News by Max Blumenthal a writer for the Grayzone. Blumenthal spelled out some of the finer points of the Ukrainegate scandal surrounding Joe Biden’s son, Hunter. Joe Biden is a longtime ally of the Atlantic Council, the DC-based think tank coordinating much of the financial and ideological drive behind NATO. In 2014, Biden was Obama’s point man in coordinating the Maidan unrest in Ukraine. Biden was richly rewarded for his services there; one of those rewards was, apparently, a six-figure salary for Hunter in the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

14,000 people have been killed in the Ukrainian civil war (so far). Too bad for them, but good for the Bidens.

Many of the details Blumenthal highlighted have an eery relevance today. Blumenthal specifically mentions Raytheon, and a particular product they sell, FGM-148 Javelin missiles. The Biden regime just blessed another weapons shipment to Ukraine, including Javelins.

Here’s another point from Blumenthal’s article that I found noteworthy. Biden has long opposed Russian gas sales to Europe, particularly Germany, claiming it is a security risk. To be fair, he’s not wrong. A certain German leader back in the 20th Century tried to invade Russia while he was still dependent on Russian energy, and things didn’t work out well for him. Unsurprisingly, the Biden regime has responded to the Nord Stream 2 pipeline by imposing more sanctions on Russia… but not Germany. This is a big game and the USA needs allies. The Final Solution wasn’t built in a day, and the Germans have had some practice at it.

Some other interesting names pop up in Blumenthal’s article. Victoria Nuland, now Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, was involved in Ukraine too. In a leaked phone conversation with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, Nuland speculated on how Ukrainians could be manipulated in NATO’s ongoing war against Russia but was frustrated by Europe’s hesitation to play along, leading her to declare “you know, fuck the EU.”

Another name that came up was Julia Ioffe, a professional shill who made a name for herself crying wolf about Donald Trump’s supposed ties to the Kremlin. Apparently, she pulled double-duty downplaying the Biden family’s war racketeering in Ukraine.

The central theme to Biden’s corruption is creating the illusion of a threat from the Untermensch in the East, and then using that threat to justify shoveling more money into the pockets of oligarchs and defense contractors. It’s a big silly game, but we’re playing it with loaded weapons, including nuclear missiles.

Ukraine was once a “breadbasket” that fed the entire Soviet Union, now it is the poorest country in Europe that cannot even feed itself. Ukraine is taking even more loans from the IMF and is suffering a severe energy crisis (it’s December, that’s not a good time for people to be living without electricity and heat). The Ukrainian government is getting desperate and reportedly massing its army along the borders of the separatist Donbas republics. This is a country gripped by extreme poverty, civil war, and right-wing extremism. If Ukraine turns into a bloodbath tomorrow, are Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, and Lloyd Austin smart and calm enough to deescalate the situation? I hope so, but I wouldn’t bet money on it either.
