Ian As a Guest Speaker on Foreign Policy Review

The guys over at Parrot TV invited me to appear on today’s podcast as a guest speaker. Today’s topics included Biden’s new sanctions on American citizens in/working for China, the relationship between Russia and the EU/Germany, and Russian attitudes toward the war. It has been literally years since I made any attempt at public speaking, so it was a good experience for me.

I understand not everyone who reads my blog is fluent in English – there is an automatic YouTube transcript that generates after a couple of days. I will copy/paste it here when it becomes available.

Oh yeah and I just noticed I was staring down the whole time, my eyes are up here.

  1. Hey man, you are pretty good at public speaking. I would be happy if I could speak so continuously as you do in my native language. And it’s not that often that one can see a face to a blog.

  2. Ian, just saw this posted by someone in the comment section at the Saker Blog. It’s high praise indeed. Yeah, we really need to do some further collaboration:

Good post and I like your list of links. I like McGregor and Larry Johnson but love Pepe Escobar. Michael Hudson, Pepe and Jorge Vilches are why I come here.

May I suggest an addition? He’s an American living in Moscow and his name is Ian Cummer. His blog is readingjunkie dot com.
